WHAT WE BELIEVE
SCRIPTURE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and has no error in the original manuscripts. It has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
GOD
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three persons are equal, eternal, and of the same essence. God is infinite and perfect. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and present in all places. He is holy and He is love.
HUMANITY
We believe that all humans are created in the image of God and possess intrinsic dignity and worth. While created innocent of sin, humanity chose to sin against God and became separated from God. Humanity is now, by nature, bent towards evil and rebellion. Humans deserve punishment for their sins, are under the wrath of God, and cannot save themselves.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was put to death on a cross, and was raised from the dead in victory over sin and death. He has ascended to Heaven and reigns in glory at the right hand of the Father.
SALVATION
We believe that by Christ's substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, those who have faith in Him are forgiven of their sins and reconciled to God. They are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Salvation is a free gift from God that cannot be earned.
CHRIST'S RETURN
We believe that Jesus is coming back. He will return to judge the living and the dead. The wicked will be subject to eternal conscious torment and His followers will enjoy eternal life in His presence.
